"God of Darkness and the Underworld," Clotho spoke spinning her thread of life.
"God of Riches," Lachesis speaks like a snake as all three drop their work and come circle Hades. Hades who is no appreciating being called to earth.
He had no choice. If the fates summon you- you answer.
"We have a gift for you," Clotho smiled revealing sharp fangs, Hades didn't tremor. Nothing scared the God of the Underworld.
"Her name is Persephone, and she is the daughter of your brother Zeus and Demeter," Lachesis slithers, but still the name sounds perfect to Hades' ears.
"Persephone," he smiles softly, his beautiful mate, he could already picture himself with her.
"She will rightfully be a goddess of spring and light, she will control your darkness," Clotho speaks proud of herself for thinking of the bond, "You need not fear to control your shadows around her, and her incisive bright light will be dimmed by you."
"When will she be mine," Hades speaks almost in a growl, the thought of waiting for Persephone causing his heart to ache.
"Her eighteenth, Lord of shadow," Clotho speaks directly, "Be prepared for war, I doubt Demeter will let her only daughter go to the Underworld easily."
"I'll take her if I must- nobody can keep her from me," Hades seals his fate.
This is the story of Persephone set in modern times, follow her story as a girl who grew up normal is forced into the world of Gods and Goddesses.
