My wolf started wagging her tail and yowled, "Mate!" I stared in disbelief at the man. He can't be my mate. He can't be. The man walked up to me and I backed up. He pinned me against the roof's wall, leaned close and pressed his forehead against mine. I whimpered as his hands slid around my waist and pulled me against him as he said, "Mine."

I awoke to shuffling in my room. I looked over to my alarm clock. 2:47. The hell? The shuffling comes closer to my bed and I tense when I see a shadow of a man. I stay still, breath coming in small pants as I tried to pretend I was sleeping. I feel a dip on the end of my bed and stiffen. I squeeze my eyes shut and whimper quietly.
