Eye of the Basilisk | MCD x Reader

(Y/N) was cursed when she was seven years old with a curse that changed her life. This curse was only able to be preformed every ten thousand years, and it was called Basilisk's Eye. Nazera, a demon that was on a conquest to 'absorb' the Shadow Lord's essence, foresaw this young girl being her end. So, Nazera had to stop this, and this curse was going to work in her favor, and it ended up working better than expected. The Basilisk's Eye is a curse where the victim's eyes are turned into those of a Basilisk's, meaning that whatever living being they gaze at, turns to stone.

But, (Y/N), having such a powerful magical presence, even at seven years old, was able to disable the spell, but only halfway. Now, only her left eye is afflicted, and she always wears a bandage over it. When she was about eleven years of age, everyone thought she was weird, and (Y/N) began to hate herself.

But then she met Dante, and they became the best of friends. The only one who accepted her. But then Dante had to leave for reasons that were left unknown to (Y/N). Then, she wandered the woods alone for years, struggling to survive, but always driven to find the one friend she had ever had. As she was searching, shew found another lost soul named Vylad, and they soon became friends. Though Vylad wasn't trying to go to anywhere or find anything, he stuck by (Y/N)'s side as she desperately looked for her old friend.

But one morning, the Fates decided to change things, and changed (Y/N)'s destiny forever.
