Sheik's job was written out for him the moment he was born. Be the guide, be the shadow, but nothing more. He was content with those rules, Impa made sure he knew them all down to the very letter. But knowing it and actually doing it are two very conflicting things. What if he just helps a little bit more? What if he stays a little bit longer than the prophecy says he should? Surely the Hero will still succeed, surely everything will be fine. This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it!
