The world has not been kind to me, but that's okay. I don't need to live in luxury or comfort. My only purpose, my only goal, is to protect my children and give them the life I never had. I don't know how much longer I can keep them safe, though. The walls I've built for us are closing in, my efforts are in vain, and I'm not strong enough to help them much longer.
