Mountains crumbled, volcanoes exploded spreading toxic fumes and dust into the atmosphere blocking out the sun.Lakes dried up and most of the vegetation died. Humans had no way to survive without these so with the last bit of technology they had, humans tried to create a new breed of people. A breed that doesn't require food, water, or sunlight.
