The red fluid shot out of the drainage pipe connected to the tube. Once completely drained the lightning surrounding the tube fizzled to a stop. Hissing, the glass surrounding the tube seamlessly moved down into the floor. Looking into the now unprotected tube he saw it - nine months of genetic perfection - a baby, coated in red liquid, curled into a ball. Lifting the newborn the only noticeable difference from other newborns was the lack of a belly button, although that was only true until the baby opened its eyes displaying a brilliant sea blue, broken only by the occasional lightning like flashes of dark blue that disappeared as fast as they came to.

When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment.
