Athena Nyx Thanatos was born to her parents along with her twin brother Ares Hephaestus Thanatos . Her father left their mother with them after strange things began happening at home. First Athena being being able to do things that she shouldn't be able to do at her age and Ares having severe temper tantrums to the point of him giving Athena a scar on her right cheek during one. Athena's parents were scared and confused when Athena just sat their calm through it all and Ares not seeming to care at all. The next step was Athena coming up with a strategy to get her parents to stop fighting and Ares having a fascination- obsession - with fire and he almost burned the whole house down. The final step that caused their father to leave when they were only nine was when Athena started writing poetry that was better than any poetry ever seen in Greek and Ares talking about how fascinating the wars were, ranging from the outfits to the many deaths. Their father signed divorce papers and forced their mother to as well. When they hit thirteen they each got visions of Greek gods and goddesses adding there blood into two separate bowls one named Athena and the other Ares. "These two shall be the saviors for our creations. All of them. The monsters and all. The girl shall be the one who thinks before she does and the boy shall do before he thinks. Almost opposite. They will have the date they meet their soulmates on their wrists. The final step is now." A man says with a group of people around them. That's when their life first changed but now it's changing again as they move to Forks, Washington to escape the house with all the bad memories.
