Currently trying to rewrite the story - What happens when Harry finally discovers the truth of his parentage and what his friends truly are? It's the summer of Harry's 5th year at Hogwarts and things couldn't be worse. The abuse he has suffered for years was pumped up a notch after yet another attempt at getting Dumbledore to let him stay at Hogwarts, which he yet again refused, and when a young basilisk crosses his path, Harry's life might have just taken a turn for the better. Years of betrayal and suffering have been given the chance to be returned, but that doesn't solve everything. Choices must be made, friendships kept and tossed away, but most importantly, families reunited.
