I ask myself so many times why do I care?why you out of all people have to be it for me ?

What is it that is so special that makes a person stay despite the pain , the hurt and lack of trust and the lies ?

Maybe it's the fact that when I look in your eyes that I can't see myself without you .

Or that your touch , your smell is like home to me .

My safe place .

Why can't I leave when all I do is hurt you? Push you away when I know I want you to stay ?

Why do I get mad seeing him with you ? Why is it that all I want to do is rip you from his arms into mine ?

Maybe it's because I was here first , I was the one to make you smile and laugh like that .

Hold you like that , kiss you like that and as much as I didn't want to admit it love you like that .

It's my fault though you don't realise what you have until it's gone .

Letting you go physically but not mentally .

Sometimes the roller coaster we call life takes us on turns and twists that we can either handle and hold on or fall and break from .
