Asger, son of Viggo Grimborn, had spent his entire life trying to live up to the title as future leader of the dragon hunters. But despite being trained to kill dragons since the age of 5, he was never able to do so, and therefore he wasn't ever able to prove himself to his father.

It wasn't until he meets Blayze, a male Monstrous Nightmare that'd manage to escape the dragon hunters, does Asger realize he doesn't have to follow his father anymore. After bonding with Blayze, the two run away to Skypoint Island, where Asger dedicates his life to dismantling the dragon hunter empire while making sure to hide his identity from his father.

But it won't be long until he realizes that he can't run forever.
