The last person you would see around a guy like Duran, shy little Michelle, the wall flower, the one no one notices that is until Duran came back into her life. She doesn't see herself as attractive at all. She sees herself as plain as the sky. But it takes the right lightning to make the sky beautiful right? Or in this case the right person. He is bad for her she knows that but there is something about Duran that makes her feel, special. "You know I'm not good for you and you still want to be around me? Everyone tells you I'm bad news to stay away from me. You seen some of the things I do and yet you still want to be around me why?" he asked looking surprised and a little suspicious. "Because I know you're good even if you act as if you aren't." He chuckled bitterly, "Don't try to change me sweetheart because no one has ever been able too." I touched his face surprising him and myself at the action, "I'm not trying to change you. You interest me by the way you are and you cannot fool me and say you have no good in you because I know you do." He shook his head, "Michelle you have no idea what you are getting yourself into." He knows he's bad, she knows hes bad but even the baddest fall when the tenderness comes knocking at their door

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights.
