Hirayon has a neurochip attached at the back of his head. It would have been normal if it already exists but the thing is, even in the technological advances of the world in the 22nd century, not even the most technologically favored countries have perfected that technology. It is still dangerous to be released to the public. So the question is: where did Hirayon get his?

To make things weirder, the people he calls family are not humans. They have pointed ears, heightened senses, and intelligence beyond the most brilliant human. They are not fae. Fearies do not have machines inside their bodies. What are they, then?

It would have been easier if Hirayon himself knew the answers to these questions. But he is clueless, and the only thing he is sure of is that there is something more beyond what his family told him.

Who is he? Or maybe, the better question is : what is he?

The answer might be in the person of Valerik, a white-haired boy who claims came from another world. And by another world, he means from another universe, another reality, and not just from another alien world somewhere in this universe.

Once Valerik gives Hirayon the truth, would he wish he had never asked these questions in the first place?
