Chloe has been through a lot in the past year. Her boyfriend, Brandon, was killed in a car accident and she blames it all on her. Her parents make her go to college and start living her life and stop thinking about the past but how can she forget when the love of her life pratically dies in her arms? How can anyone move on from something tragic like that? While attending college, Chloe meets a guy who seems to change everything and even changes her rules. Her rules are simple.

1. Don't get interested in boys (don't even look at them unless spoken to)

2. Don't fall for their games

3. Never fall in love agian. 

Ever since Brandon's death, she's promised herself that she would never love again. But what happens when the boy she ran into the hall catches her eye? What happens when he asks about her life back home in Cincinnati? Will he try to break down her walls and show him a part of her? Will he be able to get Chloe to trust him?
