Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends.
The main character doesn't notice all of the changes they have had, and is left alone after something big happens to Tal.

You know the old saying fake it til you make it? Well my best friend took that a little too seriously. Caitlyn came up with a crazy scheme to help me finally get the guy I had been crushing on for three years. Her plan was a little unorthodox to say the least. She decided that her and her boyfriend Colton should stage a break up so I could pretend to date him for a month. He was the quarterback of the football team and the most popular guy in school. She said dating him would make the guys at our school finally stop seeing me as a shy, undateable nerd. She said I would have my pick of any guy after that, including my crush Takashi. It was the most ridiculous plan I had ever heard of. There was no way anyone would actually believe me and Colton were dating. He was the quarterback of the football team. It would have probably been easier to convince the whole school that I was dating the President. The problem was, I knew she was right. It was probably the only way I could get Takashi (my crush) to see me as girlfriend material and I wanted that more than anything in the world. Plus, Caitlyn's crazy schemes usually worked and I was desperate, so I reluctantly agreed to it. The weirdest part of the whole thing was, her boyfriend Colton used to be my best friend before him and her started dating and she gradually took his place as my best friend. That was four years ago and him and I weren't near as close as we used to be. Now he was just my best friend's boyfriend. CONTENT WARNING: Very mature themes & sexual content - 18+ only! Fake Dating The Bad Boy

"Come on Austin. Please delete the video!" "No way." He smirks, "That'll be too easy." "What do you want from me?" "I need you to be my fake girlfriend." "What! No way in hell." "Fine then I'll just send this to everyone in school." "Okay fine I'll do it," I roll my eyes and he smirks, "but there's rules." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emma Princeton(18 years old) is a normal teenage girl except she's lost a lot and has a shocking past that only a few people know about. She's not a nerd, although she gets good grades, she has a lot of friends but she's not one of the "populars". Austin King(also 18 just a couple months older), the schools bad boy. The top one in the "populars" group. He's known for dating girls for a day or two then breaking their hearts and tossing them to the side. Never thinking about them again. But what happens when Emma finds herself in a situation where Austin has a certain leverage over her and needs a fake girlfriend that's presentable to his mother and not one of his usual flings? What happens when Emma agrees, will they fall in love? Or will he just use her and break her heart like all the other girls that he's dated? There's a thin line between love and hate.
