Insane thoughts came rushing in. 
I think I'm crazy, well technically, I am. 
But that's not the thing right now.
I have many theories like maybe aliens are just the future of human civilizations. We changed with all the global warming and bad chemical outbreaks in our planet. Our heads became bigger and bodies became smaller. 

Woah, wait, what am I talking about? 
I guess that is just one of my many what ifs. 
Another what if is that, maybe I will end up with the person who never loved me, maybe in the future, he will be desperate to have me, just as I did, but during that time I've already moved on. 
What if he wants us to be together at least in the future? What if he will do his best to make me fall for him again? What will I do?

Those are my what ifs.

We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. I don't own any of these characters

Brought there by an unusual race with seemingly good intentions. As for Nathan, like many children of his metal status and age from the looks of things; ends up placed in the care of someone on the ship and, what would be lucky for their kind, in the care of the commander of the ship he's on. But he's willing to trust something that knows his every like and dislike despite his kind nature. Will be driven mad as he tries to figure out what happened to his family, will he give in, or will that be the key to find out.

He saw the progress humanity had been making. He knew they had learned from their past environmental failures. In his opinion, the people of Earth didn't have to die. All they needed was a new start on a different planet.
