A Light in the Darkness. (Gene x Sasha) (MCD)

"We are here to ask, you want this new life, don't you?" He asked. "What new life?" I asked, suddenly scared again. I had died, yes, but a new life? "You are a Shadow Knight like us now," He told me. I felt tears stream down my face. I was told to hate and fear Shadow Knights for what they do to people, and I'm one of them now? This wasn't real. This had to be a dream. I pinched myself in the arm, begging myself to wake up. I felt Morgan sit down beside me, silent. "Sasha, don't look at it like loss," Gene told me, "If you pledge your loyalty to The Shadow Lord, all of your problems will fade. We will be you new family, and we will let them pay for what they've done to you," He assured me. I looked at him, tears in my eyes. He held my chin up with his hand. I could tell he was a real flirt, but I didn't care. He then said to me, "Don't think about it that way. Think about it as a second chance at life."

As a young girl, Sasha had been told to fear Shadow Knights for everything they have done to her, her village, and her family. Though, when she wakes up to a gorgeous Shadow Knight, who happens to be named Gene, who tells her she is now one of them, she finds her world upside down. Will she be able to find the beautiful parts of her new life, or will she slowly flicker out like a flame to a breeze?
