You can only run from your demons for so long. Sooner or later they're going to check up with you.

Take Anthony Carter for explain. His poor decisions and choosing to keep people who meant him no good around landed the young man in a position in life he never thought he'll be and only being 22 years of age.

Finding himself with no friends or family and being broken beyond repair. Who would've thought a simple gesture of kindness would've changed his life forever.

All he ever wanted was to be heard , for someone to hear his pain but he could never seem to form the words. Knowing bystanders wouldn't just listen to his sob story he decided to grasp their attention by doing the one thing he knew he was good at.

Sing.

Singing with his last breath , singing with his last few wet tears , singing His Broken Testimony praying someone would finally hear him and they did.

She did.

Nina Chime, a sixteen year old girl, dealing with many differences that others take advantage to. It's not her fault she's this way, it's more her mum's, Cheryl Kim, as she never raised her as she should've done. Nina agrees to a 'friend' to venture into a new world to distract herself from reality but finds herself remembering dreams, as well as nightmares, she's had in the past. She meets familiar faces along the way, as well as ones she must get rid of permanently. But will that happen? Understand the world of one that lives it differently by exploring with Nina what she sees and what this world entails for her. Will it be pretty? Will it be gruesome? Will she learn something? Or was it all a distraction from reality? ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ This is a mental health awareness book as many people facing mental health conditions/illnesses see the world so differently to others. Growing up motherless wasn't always what the 18-year-old Tanya Moore would've dreamt of. Life had a funny way of doing things ya know? It was bad enough she only got to spend the first quarter of her life with her mother before she lost her to stupid cancer. The only time they got to hang out was Saturday and Sunday before and after Church. She was always at home with her father, he wasn't always so bad, he was a great man, a great husband, and a loving father.. he was a retired war veteran and did nothing but collect his checks and would occasionally do favors for old friends. Stacy Moore was a high school teacher and all the kids in the neighborhood loved her. She was always so sweet and would sing to her class if they did well. A loving mother, wonderful wife, amazing daughter, a great friend, but when the good Lord calls, there is simply nothing we can do about it. As much as we may try, God always has the final say, it may be a bad way to turn things out, but remember things happen for a reason and God never makes mistakes. Once she passed away after battling cancer for three years, things changed.. for the worst, and poor sweet little Tanya was caught in the crossfire of it all. We're all afraid of something or someone, we all get tired, we all get fed up with the same old routine, but the question is, how much is enough? When is it simply too much? When should you begin to fight back or run? How long should you sit there and let the only person that you once loved and looked up to continue to misuse and abuse you? Tell me something, if you had a chance to get help would you run and never look back?

"He was the definition of what you call bad, he smoked, he broke the law, he drove too fast for his own good.He didn't care because no one taught him how to. But when it came to her, he wanted to be the best man.He couldn't bare the thought of her being hurt by him...or by anyone else. He would kill to protect her, the girl who cared about someone as worthless as him in all her perfection". "Perfection... that's what she's always been. Not even her scars could steal the hope in her eyes. She waited for someone. And when she met him, she couldn't help what she felt. She fell hard for him. And so did her saviour. The girl who had a little too much heart to go around. She never thought herself of being worthy of his love. And she'd go to hell and back for the one who loved her fiercely".
