Reborn in Flames

Natural evolutions enhancing a rare few over the years have spawned legends of mythical creatures since the first languages started recording the legendary tales of shifters and winged beings. However, when a private company with a mysterious owner takes it upon itself to hunt down and genetically enhance these beings, a new race unlike anything seen before is born. Although gifts range from shape shifting to flight to telepathy, all the children of these changes are linked, and will have to band together to save themselves from those seeking to weaponize them. Out of them all Searcy was the ultimate success, too successful in fact. After escaping the compound as a child she must eventually go back in order to free those that were left behind.
