The Love Of Evil

Darkness, all around, closing in on me, suffocating me, slowly swallowing my soul. Evil, is there such a thing? Or is it a simple façade we use to make ourselves feel better. A good man somebody on the right track, you can help at your local homeless shelter, mow the gardens of your elderly neighbours and smile at the children that you walk past on the way to school, great, your a generous man, but what if you don't have time to help at your local homeless shelter, what if you have to steal from your elderly neighbours just to make sure you and your siblings will have food for the week, what if you have such a life that even the idea of smiling seems almost absurd, then what are you, an evil man? A man with a black heart? A criminal? Perhaps... perhaps he is a man who hasn't had the same opportunities in life, a man who does what he can for his family, a man who has given up on happiness, a man forever alone. For he is the man that society looks down on.
