Haven Meyers was diagnoised with bone cancer and isnt expected to live very long even with treatment. She's moved through almost each stage of grief, stuck on anger as she tries to come to terms with her fate. She meets a boy, at a very difficult time in her life and doesnt expect him to understand or even care about her situation. Why should he? She'd be dead soon.
