This is a story I wrote when I was in my first year of college. It's not the best writing and there are most likely some grammar errors, but I thought it might be fun to post anyway. Synopsis: Kinsley Slater is a high school senior who resides in the small town of Brookings, Oregon. She was born with quite a special gift-- she can see soulmates. On this Earth, each person born has a soulmate. Soulmates are determined by the shape of one's heart, and some women can see that shape. Although Kinsely is one of these woman, she is a cynical girl who doesn't believe in love. (most likely because she doesn't have a soulmate herself.) But what will happen when the new boy at school catches her eye? And what will she decide to do with her life after high school?
