Troubled! No one ever understood her. No one ever had time for her. Until he came along, they were inseparable. Soo alike. She soon discovered, he was the only thing she really needed. He became her love, her life. Her savior! One night, they both made a wish. He was Kays wish. His wish came true. Heading off to be in one of the biggest bands around. The 1975. But to become a success, he had to let go of the failure - Kay. But Kay doesn't know how to let go. Or to stop being the failure no one wants. Four years later, when she does and cleans up her habits and her life. Its soon clear that Matty's the one who's the addict. And Kay's the drug. Can she forgive? Will she cave? Can she change? Los Angeles, 2013. The 1975 are on the edge of fame, and Matty Healy is unraveling as quickly as he's rising. In a sweat-soaked dive bar, he meets an aspiring actress with fire in her eyes and loneliness in her bones. Their connection is instant - cigarettes, bruised laughter, late-night confessions - but it isn't love. What begins as hunger and escape spirals into a ritual of destruction: hotel rooms, empty bottles, whispered promises, and the needle that binds them tighter than desire ever could. This is not a happy love story. It's a fever dream - two souls chasing oblivion, desperate to feel everything and nothing all at once.
