The Gory Details (Gross)
Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. I own the rights to the articles and Queen Mum of the Ooze, Kay Patterson has allowed me to keep the name "Gore Monger" (which she owns) provided I write: The Gore Monger appears courtesy of Nocturnal Ooze. A Big Book of Short Stories
A collection of my ideas. While most could have been cared for and nurtured until they grew into fully fledged books, they have only matured halfway, creating a efficient way to get stuck in your head. I'll also post short stories that I may or may not try turning into novels. From "The Kid is Hot Tonight," a story about such topics as high school parties and domestic abuse. To "Just Another Nightmare," a story about a kind of hell you might never have thought of. This collection will likely make you question if something is wrong with me. Spoiler alert; there is. The apocalypse came; firstly only with the side effects of another world war, the radioactive making people sick and poisoning the air and food, but then the zombies came. And they hit hard against an already fragile humankind. Not that it matters to me, really, I'm a vampire after all; no zombie can match me and is even fun to bully them around while I have the whole city for myself. As if a swarm of ants would bother the passing tiger. But one thing did, one that was the worst nightmare of any immortal being. Loneliness. And being bored to death on top of that. Good thing that some humans appear close to my territory, that way I have someone to play with; and the mere thought makes my mouth water, so many things I could do to them... And that made me very, very eager. *** MC(Main Character) ML (Male Lead/couple) MC: I hope you two are prepared. ML1: Prepared? For what? ML2: Don't you dare hurt him... Here are short stories (really short ones) that I wrote years back. I won't say when I was younger, because it was only three/two years back. However some are very recent. So like say the title don't judge me. Please excuse any grammatical errors, English is not my first language. (I speak French, but I am fluent in English). Hope you enjoy!
