This is a tale--told in all frenzied hysteria--about sex, power, and the human ego gone horribly, horribly wrong.

Narrated by a perceptive and lovable ranch horse, the story concerns a distinguished U.S Senator who has gone to a bucolic rehab center out of his flagrant addiction to sex, and a young schitzoid cartoonist who admires him and will go to any twisted ends to get the TRUTH for all this Senator is worth.

Meanwhile, the rehab center itself is more than just a backdrop for the sordid deeds, nay, this treatment facility might just have some secrets of its own, and a "creative" role to play in the Senator's full recovery...

This is a collection of five miscreant tales: "The Grotesque There Is", "A Mere Clock", "Mayara", "The Lethargy" and "Animalia". Here are the synopses of each story in this book: "The Grotesque There Is" is actually a performance of two short stories. The first (initially called "Equine Hiring") is a mostly dialogue story about a horse in a job interview. The second tells the chronicle of the two men who stood in the rain. "A Mere Clock" is a narrative in the 1st person that tells the adventures of a mere wristwatch. At the first impact, the characters seem far from the reader, but the last paragraph ends up in a contemporary narration. "Mayara" tells the story of an egoistic girl that falls in love with a young man. Later, this man doesn't satisfy himself with her selfishness and ends up infuriating the girl, which leads to a series of tragedies and anguish, all due to the destructible retaliation. "The Lethargy" is an imaginary, almost parabolic narrative where the protagonist is a sleepy student disappointed in himself. "Animalia" is a first-person novelette of a teenage love affair between a bass player and a pretty who turns out to be a beast, making the story a real wild and raw mess. PS.: Some of these stories may present sensitive content and metaphorical representation of violence, although I do not consider any of these occurrences really timely characterised as 'mature content' since such matters are dealt with discreetly and with no compromise. Anyway, if you are uncomfortable with any approach to mature content, I suggest not reading "The Lethargy" & "Animalia". 🧡 #theseasonalcontests Book cover art: "Sogno Del Demiurgo" by Alessandro Sicioldr.

Tyson Shelley is a very typical teenager: parties, girls, passionate about his garage band. Except he may have taken it too far. Whenever there's a party he's the first one with a drink in his hand, which would be all right, if he weren't popping pills as well. But what led him to this behavior in the first place? Perhaps it was his broken childhood, disturbed and interrupted by bouts of violence and loss? His missing mother, or his alcoholic father? Whatever it was, it's left him lost and without a purpose beyond getting trashed every Friday and Saturday night. Calla Stevenson however seems the exact opposite. The new girl in town with an average nuclear family and a little sister to be a role model for. She's never had the chance to act out, with the only truly obvious thing setting her apart is her taller than average height and her penchant for retro clothing. But then you look closer. The hairline cracks that have spread their way across her family have widened, and with her parents separating she blames herself for their unhappiness. In a new town, they were meant to start anew. But the change of scenery brings with it its own set of anxieties: a new school, new friends and the persistent daily struggle of dyslexia. Murwillumbah seems a sleepy enough town when Calla and her family moves in. But once she meets Tyson everything changes. She learns less about the cocky, guitar playing James Dean Rebel, and more about the gentle soul he is intent on destroying. Ecstasy is a story about opposites, and is told by two narrators. It reminds us that everyone has their own path but we can all walk in each other's shoes. Warning: this story may contain frequent us e of strong language, sexual scenes, and STRONG drug use. NOTE: I did write this many years ago when I was in like middle school or high school and I'm in college now. So there are errors every now and then. I did republish this recently and try to fix some errors every now and then.

In the near future, Mr. Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States of America, and there have been some radical changes. Some for the better, and some for the worse. Some are just plain weird. Most notably, however, a giant wall exists at the border of Mexico and the U.S. to stop illegal immigration in Trump's ideology. That's all great, but when Ramon Juarez, a Mexican-American man who immigrated to America years before is caught in the middle of a family crisis that presents certain legal problems in this new, outlandish world, he'll have to break some laws and team up with a couple of dorks to save the day. Inspired by the Trump Craze of the recent months, this is a political comedy, intended to be as uncompromisingly funny as humanly possible. I'm in ninth grade and, at 33 pages long, this is my first story ever. I originally wrote it for the holidays late last year on Google Docs, but my family, friends, and peers loved it, so I figured I'd share it online. Enjoy! NOTICE: This story is labeled as not mature, but it does contain a few suggestive references and mild expletives, so make of it what you may.
