Gasp! A story not related to any fandom?!
this was a project I had to write for English class, but I thought it'd be cool to upload here as a short-ish story.
Warning! Scary scenes, and some body horror
Josh, the titular character, has been recently plagued by an onslaught of petrifying hallucinations, and he doesn't know what's causing them.

What was that? A lost monkey? A shadow? A demon? At this point, who knows. He certainly can't tell. MK's eyes and ears start to play cruel tricks on him. He starts seeing and hearing strange things that nobody else can. And, for some reason, he always feels the need to draw whenever something odd occurs. Doing so helps, but not for long. After all, you can't chase away the things that follow you when your mind finally decides to betray you. *This story is based on my OWN experiences with hallucinations.
