John Laurens didn't know love.

He could slightly remember his mother's tenderness and care. He knew his father's so-called ways of 'affection'. He new about the respect and admiration his young and naive siblings felt for him. But John Laurens had never felt such a powerful and dangerous love for the one everyone around him would so often describe.

He does, though, know money.

And when he falls in love with the cute boy who works at the coffee shop uptown, he has absolutely no goddamn clue what to do. So he decided to use all of that money.
