Juvia has been living her life in fear since birth. That's because when her real parents found out that she would never be normal, they sent her to a local foster home. There, she was mistreated and abused by the children and the volunteers. 

Now Juvia is 17 and is attending her 3rd Highschool this year, due to not being wanted by other families. She attends Fairy Tail High, a School for prodigies. There, she still lives her life in sorrow with a new wealthy family, Mr. Makarov and Mrs. Porlyuscia .. until she meets Gray Fullbuster, of course.
