16 year-old Raven and 3 year-old Tyler are both adopted by Demi Lovato.  Raven has had a tough past; having been in the adoption center since she was a baby. Raven doesn't really understand what it's like to finally have someone care for her while Tyler is loving it. Demi was really only going to adopt Raven, but decides that Raven should be able to watch Tyler grow up. In the very beginning, Demi's little sister, Maddie, doesn't really like the idea of Raven taking Demi from her.
