Mia Ernest has a problem: She starves herself. Everyday, she makes it her goal to eat only grapes, whole-grain crackers, and yogurt to survive, all for the purpose of becoming skinnier. But when her partially-present parents notice the problem, they send her away to Willow Marks Home for Eating Disorders. There, she must learn to "control her dietary habits and rebuild her strength" with the help of the supervisors and attendants. She meets many new people along the way, including Mr. Brennan, or, more preferably, Elijah, who teaches her how to fall in love with herself just the way she is. And, maybe, along the way, she'll fall in love with him, too.
