On the island of Kaomli Limol, people celebrate the stars as gods. festivals are held in their honour and stories are told about the piaak'lo mai (the Kaomli name for constellations). All is well until a girl loses her beloved parents to a fishing accident. Fishermen no longer came home happy and full of life and reported strange signs formed by the stars.
