Derilyene (pronounced Der-e-leen), a teenager with a boring & simple life lives with her parents and his older brother Shawn and has only one friend named Rachel.
Suddenly, her life is twisted.
Her guardian angel enters her life much for her happiness but things start changing when a fellow classmate of her turns out to be a demon from hell and wouldn't stop bothering her.
Then there's this 'King' of his who wants her for some anonymous reason.
How she wished for that same simple life now..

"Don't even think of running away. You and I both know who's going to win at that" he warned and stopped a foot away from me. "I'm going to ask again, how did you get it?"
I remained silent and he looked impatient. Way impatient.
"If you don't tell me that in ten seconds, then I would forget everything about my promise of not hurting you. Choice is yours, love." He said as he stared down at me and I gulped.
"I brought it out of my dream" I said quickly fearing for my life.
"So that's why he wants you. Impressive" he said as he turned around and from his face, I could gather that he was thinking hard.
"Who is he?" I squeaked.
"He is someone you'd never want to deal with" he said as he turned around and looked at me with hard eyes.

But when being a superhero turns out to mainly involve boring work that does not get her the immediate popularity she craves, she shifts gears and becomes a villain. Trigger warning: contains descriptions of physical and emotional abuse, blood and gore. Excerpt from chapter 2: I carefully begin pouring the white powder onto the floor, drawing a large pentagram. I spend a lot of time on the intricate details, making sure everything is perfect. The summoning circle quite small, but it will have to do. I clap my hands twice and hear a soul-crushing scream that appears to pierce my body to its core. Hearing the sound fills my stomach with butterflies and gives me a fuzzy feeling. I haven't heard a single sound in almost a year. Following the scream, a shadowy figure emerges. He appears deep black, littered with stars, as if a human-like shape has been carved out of the universe, but also strangely transparent, as if made of glass.
