Lucy, or Luce as her friends calls her, throws the party of the year while her parents are gone. It was her birthday, why not get crazy and drunk, that's what teenagers do! But the birthday present she receives from her boyfriend, Michael is having sex with another girl. Lucy decides to finally break up with the boy who had been cheating on her continuously with other girls for the past three years but she starts to fall apart. Lucy falls into a depressed mode with only her best friend Sarah, to help. But when Lucy realizes that her and Sarah were starting to fall for each other, she tries to prevent it. Sarah would never dream of losing Lucy, her best friend for the past 12 years, but here she was, losing her. She must find a way to tell Lucy she loves her but not scare her off. Throughout this whole situation, Lucy finds herself writing letters to her ex, Michael, about the things she goes through but never sending them. What will happen between Sarah and Lucy? And most of all, will Lucy ever conquer her depression in enough time to find love?

They all initially agree to help James, and also want to make some good money from the party. But, there's one girl who wants to see it all burn up in flames. Sammi, a mean, catty, popular girl who has the hots for James, tries everything in her power to ruin Emma. After a bunch of run ins with the both of them, Sammi makes up a rumor about James, insinuating it was Emma who started it. James watches Emma embarrass herself on multiple different occasions, And still wont explain why he is upset with her. But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home. He then tells her he fiund out it was Sammi who started the rumor. And to make it up to her, he brings her to see her favorite series, 'Raven-Man' at the Drive-in theatre.
