What if I forget the password. At least I can search my username and see the published entries. Diary writing is love. There is a hope in my mind about days ahead. The days ahead might be bad for me but there is an equal chance of them being good. This is thr hope I'm holding on. As an aspiring author and journalist, I have been taking literary courses to expand my horizon as a writer. Whether that be illustrating from different perspectives, recording naturalistic observations, or analyzing TV shows... I have been growing in various areas, making me the novelist I am today. The following publication you are about to read contains snippets of my journey (writing assignments, journals, poems, short stories, etc.) and the boundaries I had to cross to become a better storyteller. Every entry will have context for what the assignment is, followed by my submission. Draft Thought
This story is meant as journal for self-reflection purposes only. As someone whose emotions and thoughts are in constant chaos, I'm still grappling in this reality that I'm having a hard time to manage these intrusive thoughts that I often ruminate a lot. It's making me lose my mind and I'm struggling on how to articulate and express myself, but at least in here, I'm going to vent here. Feel free to exit this story if you don't like it. I'm just someone whose living in silence. You don't need to continue reading this one if it doesn't make sense to you. You know how I write things out of random and you might not understand some things. I feel chaotic inside that it's too hard to explain. Take note that this is not your typical story, this only contains words of personal essay which is based from daily experiences of the writer itself. And as a respect to the writer, refrain from commenting accusatory remarks and profanities. This story is entitled Draft Thought for a reason. A daily life reflection of thoughts, feelings and even random topics to talk about. An outlet to release the burdens placed on my mind, and as a way of expressing my own view on things. Hi, A few years back I began my blogger's journey. Now it's time when I archive them all here and share with you all. But before that let me do the little formality and introduce you the blogger, the writer, the artist behind this all. Hey I'm Ocean, a dreamy girl, who has completed her college studies of fashion designing from a few years back and then stepped into the writing world. Though writing was already a big part of me since my school days, but now it has become a professional practice too. Other than writing and designing, I pretty much like photography and travelling. And the things which I love to do in my free time is dancing, listening to music - hindi classicals, qawwali, ghazal, indie-pop or fusions are my favourite, other than that watching movies/series - Classics, Rom-Com, Action, Thrill, Sci-Fi - ALL! and studying film-making. Behind the scenes always hit different to me. So, the big question! What this blog archive is about? And the answer is - it's about all those things which interests me and how I have worked around it and published them as blogs. Yes, it includes everything, things I just mentioned above. And all the things I find fascinating, the things I write about, think about and feel about. The things we share with people and the things which we do not share with people. A place - where thoughts, imagination and creation are put together. The world is seen differently every next day and yet it seems the same.
