After leaving the Generation of Miracles, the feeling of hurt and betrayal has turned Kuroko into an even more quiet person. He rarely smiles anymore and was often alone. People don't notice him much now that he was really trying to disappear from the world.

When Kagami became a transferred student in Seirin High he couldn't help but notice Kuroko and how depressed he was. After hanging out with him for some time he finally got to know about Kuroko's past in the GOM. What Kagami doesn't know was why Kuroko left in the first place, and who made him the way he was now.
