"Are you sure you want to know what I am talia?" Jason spoke. The huskiness in his words made her toes curls.

She swallowed hard. She'd had the nerve on the drive here. Even gave her self pep talks to be able to confront him. But looking at his bare torso, and those pale grey eyes against his dark skin made her mouth dry and the grip on her book slack.

He licked his lips, "do you really want to know?"

Talia squared her feet and met his gaze. "Yes," she knew she'd regret this later but the darkness she knew that had been looming was crashing in around them. But she had to know. She had to know what world Kyle had shown her. Even if it was going to get her killed.

--------------------

Talia Peterson never thought she would be back in Forks. Not after she'd successfully avoided it for the last two summers. But when her father dies she's forced back to the town she despises. And when women start washing up on shore drowned and a strange symbol carved into their neck, the same symbol carved into her father's neck, Talia is thrown into a world full of gods and great spirits. A war that began with a love triangle and a world she didn't know existed.

"W-What do you want?" I stammered, my eyes not leaving his gaze on me. "I want to prove you wrong." he smirks dangerously and speaks with his husky, deep voice. He took another step towards me and I took another step back making me collide with the wall. He hovers over me, his chest mere inches away from mine. He kept his hand on either side of me, caging me in his arms. He smirks dangerously and says, "That your body doesn't crave for my touch." He always does this, he intimidates me and then thinks I die for his touch. I would never allow his hand near me. Again. I grit my teeth and said "My body doesn't." He leaned closer to me, his hard chest pressing against my hardened nipples and whispered near my ear "Then why are you so nervous, rose?" He kept his mouth near my ear and his hand came on my bare legs. He slowly trailed his big, rough hands, making his way under my skirt. My breath hitched and he stopped mere inches from my core. No matter how hard I try to deny his touch, my body responds exactly the way he wants. My spine arched and my eyes snapped close. He breathed near my ear and whispered in his husky voice filled with sins, "No matter how much you deny, your body always craves for my touch, wife." ✤✤✤ Devansh Raichand, CEO of the top fashion label who only thrived for finding his father's murderer. It was the night things changed. She walked out, her forbidden dress clinging to her like a child to their mother. The stone angels positioned in front of the dark mansion had their eyes closed. They would not witness this. Even in the dark, he could easily see the liquid that dropped from her hand. The dagger in her hand shook, her whole body shook. Until she lay her eyes on him. And stilled. She smiled. Her dress flowed, black dots coating the pavement around her as she ran. She jumped into his arms and he embraced her, like a flicker of light in the dark. Her hair piece was broken and stained red. The night things changed was the best night of their lives. * // Acheron is a secret society, older than most tales and a perfect example of what madness can lead to. Its members, recruits and disciples, live the life of romantics. With balls, drugs, art, murder and a leader who thinks himself a god. Harry puts a plan in motion, a plan long overdue, and gives the star role to Anaya. But even Harry can't be one step ahead of fate all of the time. So things take a twisted turn. Inspired by the dark academia and royal core aesthetic, this story is a celebration of being free of morals and rules. I do not condemn or agree with my characters actions. Enjoy. (Basically- if "Don't Blame Me" by Taylor Swift was a book... it would be this book)
