There's nothing worse than losing something you care for, Jack knew that, but as Alex's cancer got worse and Jack's love for him got stronger, they realised it was something they'd have to get ready for. Their relationship wasn't something they were prepared to sacrifice to illness, however. There's only one way down this road.
