As her foot gently tugged at the gas peddle, a car pulled out in front of her. She threw her hand forward to try and avoid hitting the car in front of her, she hit the side of the country road, driving her car straight into a ditch. The car flipped once, twice end over end, crushing the top inward like a soda can crusher. Spewing her out like the metal top. The totalled car rested painlessly in the sleet on the side of the road and the lifeless body half-way out of the open window.
I woke up praying this story was false. But the only thing different, was the body wasn't lifeless.

Blind not Deaf
“ I have been nothing but good to you for the past two years!” I yell into my cell phone. I’m so angry and frustrated that my knuckles turn white from holding onto the steering wheel so tight. “And you know what Gary, I’m soooo done being with you, we’re through!” Then before giving him a chance to reply I hang up. But before I could do anything about the speed, I see that dark figure that changes my life forever. It was standing in the middle of the road, facing my car not looking like it’s going to move. Not wanting to hit it I swirl out of the way but lose control on the slippery road. I desperately try to take control of the vehicle, knowing I can’t, I cry out as it hits a tree and the world goes dark. Alexander Miles lived a perfect life, full of good grades and wild parties. Her parents let her do most anything, her friends are amazing and her boyfriend Gary couldn’t be sweeter. Yes life was good! But one night something didn’t feel right when Gary called and explained he was going out of town. Following his car, he parks in front of an out of control party. Still confused about him lying she followed her boyfriend into the party and finds him with another girl; worst of all, that girl has had a lifelong grudge on her. On the way home she gets into a car crash living her in a coma. During the time while she’s in a coma her friends and family visit her and surprisingly she can hear them talking to her. The brakes are locked and my car begins to spin, hydro planing due to the wet weather. I jolted around in my seat as I release a loud echoing scream inside the car. I cannot see what's going on outside of the car due to the heavy rain. The car is spinning at a frightening speed, and I'm slammed into something heavy. It was too late for them. I could just barely hear what the paramedics were yelling to the doctors as they rushed to the operating room. "Car crash. Must have lost control. Both middle aged men. One is Native-American with long black hair and light brown eyes. He has multiple lacerations to the abdomen, his skull was fractured, left knee cap shattered, and internal bleeding." the young man explained. "The other is Caucasian with blonde hair and green eyes. His neck is broken, there are four fractures along his spine, we think his spleen might have burst, and there is a large piece of the car door sticking out of his chest. Possibly the handle. My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut.
