Josh has always helped Tyler with his depression. He always thought Blurryface was just a voice in Tyler's head.
But all that changes when Blurryface takes over Tyler's body for a few minutes.
And when Blurryface expresses feelings for him, Josh finds himself drawn into something he doesn't think he wants, but can't seem to avoid.

fun fact, i wrote this mostly to cope with my own abusive relationship. it's kind of triggering for me now (7 years later) so be careful (if anybody is even reading this in 2024). and a lot of this stuff feels glorified/romanticized. yikes.

Josh Dun comes along and tries to help Tyler battle his mind that he called Blurryface or Blurry for short. He meets new friends and goes through a lot of shit until eventually the battle with Blurry begins. All that matters is that Tyler defeats him and then and only then can he get on with life and enjoy it, but with an abusive parent and bad mental health issues it is gonna be hard. Can Josh save him? Can Tyler save himself and defeat Blurryface? Or will all end in tragedy........Complete

Platonic Joshler Life can get pretty difficult when your only two friends are imaginary, and it's even harder when they're not exactly the most positive people on the planet. Tyler is used to that, though, and he's used to pretending they're not there when other people are around. It wasn't so bad, at first, but now that one of them is bent on getting rid of the other, he's having his doubts.
