What would you do if kidnapped and put in the situation where death would be preferable? Is revenge the best option? These are the questions that beautiful, young Isabelle Handel is forced to consider when Arthur Selve, a charming, rich prince, walks into her life. When forced into an unwelcome relationship Isabelle realizes that the world has bigger problems than her abhorrence to marriage. When she gets pregnant, she realizes that her choices from now on will impact how the life of her child will play out. Walk through the life of an innocent girl in the 1800's learning to live in a hell on earth and explore the idea of what an obsession for revenge can do to a family. "Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves." -Confucius

The Four

There used to be a time where the world feared Locatlie. This time was merely decades ago. They thought that the Locatlie family was untouchable, they couldn't come near anyone anymore after the War of hearts. But the people that lived through the War of Hearts got soft, they either died or forgot it happened in the first place. Their children got children and those children forgot whom they were dealing with. Nobody thought that anybody could compete with Queen Julia. The queen whom brought down nations. Until I came along. You think Julia had it rough? Pfft. Her life was a fucking cake walk compared to mine- but lets not get ahead of the story. Julia might be the queen that brought down the nations, but I was the one that made them beg for mercy while burned them all to the ground. Important information: You can read this story without reading the Locatlie series, but it will spoil the Locatlie series for you. If you like books that close off chapters and you like reading long stories, read the Locatlie series first. :) Warning: This story contains physical abuse, mental abuse and sexual abuse.
