So forbidden it's borderline illegal. It feels illegal in a town like this. It was just sex. Ridiculous, I hate you sex with the one guy in school I had no business being with. But the line between love and hate blurs easily. And in a town like this, where secrets are hard to keep, we're playing with fire. Quitting him doesn't work, especially when he wants me even worse than I want him. Despite how much he hates me, despite that we were destined to hate each other. The only sure way to keep a secret is to be the only one who knows it. But this secret already involves two. And it's bound to get out and wreak havoc on my life and my plans for escape. The only questions that will remain are- was he worth it and will we survive the fall out?

Chase made my life a misery for years. He was a monster who bullied and tormented me on a daily basis and he was my worst enemy for a long time. Until things changed between us. It's really complicated but we're together now. Our past still haunts us but I thought we were happy. I thought we were honest with each other and then I found out that he hasn't been honest with me after all. I found out he's been lying to me and betrayed me with someone else. Someone who despises me and always wanted him for herself. It looks like she finally got her wish but there's a reason behind it. Chase was blackmailed by the one person who wants to come between us and he did everything in his power to try and stop it from happening. He did everything he could to protect me but still broke my heart in the end. Again. Except this time I'm going to break his. It's his turn to know what it feels like and I won't stop until I've ruined him. My revenge will be ruthless... just like him.
