Revaramek the Resplendent has become all these things, and more. And it all began as  my first ever NaNoWriMo novel. seemingly innocuous, completely off the wall fantasy-comedy with a story-obsessed dragon,  a hot-tempered heroine, surreal humor and way too much witty banter. I embraced the NaNoWriMo spirit, and tried to write a complete novel in just one month. I posted as I wrote, with no time for editing or revision, and fully expected the story to collapse under its own weight.

Instead, it became something remarkable that was never what I thought...The comedy was only ever a smokescreen...

For the time being, this blog contains the still-unedited rough draft of Book 1, in which the story remained a comedy...mostly. In time, I'll edit and revise it, and post books 2 and 3, as well.All Rights Reserved

My NaNoWriMo novel from November 1st 2016-June 8th 2017 ft. My 2019 self's astute critique. ~~ Miryanna Heolstor is a lady of Terinnia, the niece of the king himself. Ever since she was young she's wanted to follow her father's footsteps and become an ambassador to the land of Fasik. But a new threat is building that will put being an ambassador far from her mind. Her friend Andarin is involved in a secret organization called the Erglis that protects the kingdom from people and organizations who would do it harm. Miryanna wants in. Even if those people and organizations are Karayan Batal and the Vanags. A bloodthirsty group and a passionate and powerful man who's goal is to overtake the land of Terinnia and lay it bare to the hostile Empire of Amani's clutches. Miryanna never thought she'd be butting heads with her kingdom's greatest threat, but while Karayan does his utmost to upset the deffences of her and the Erglis, she does everything in her power to keep his hands off the things she loves, finding a formidable antagonist in the process. Can Miryanna find the strength within her to do all she can for her friends and the land of Terinnia? Or will she become another victim in a power play by an overambitious empire? ~~ Fantasy/adventure, a bit of cringe, a lot of not knowing what I'm doing. I've given my commentary and for once, I want to hear other people's take on this too, but for pete's sake, know what you're talking about before you hit "comment". It is completely unedited. It was first helping out for bosses in the game then helping him to laugh more openly in real life. She landed in his life like a dandelion landing in your sight out of nowhere. All outgoing and no care of the world. It was difficult. The language barrier was difficult. She knew the language but was still struggling. He corrected her but laughed before doing that because of the hilarious sentences she said that she didn't mean to. A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.
