LANA Harker had been pampered all her life. Being royalty would offer that service to you free of charge. But the Examinations had punctured that illusion as easily as popping a balloon.

She was an Oddity - she had no place in society anymore! Even her parents level of power couldn't prevent the inevitable.
Lana Harker was no longer royalty, and no longer considered human. So they sent her to where all the other Oddities go.

Nowhere anybody on Earth had a clue where these rejects were sent. For all they knew, they would have eventually starved to death in a rocket ship.
But the Oddities did have a place, however. They may have been outcasts on Earth, but they had a job.

Project Eden is in charge of creating euphoria. Human beings, or any mammal, in fact, would not be experiencing joy without it. Oddities are the selected few who make sure that Project Eden exists for eternity.

But it's not just happiness and lollipops. Lana is starting suspect something sinister going on within Eden's 'perfect' boundaries. Corruption and greed seems to be taking its course around the planet, and Earth could be in grave danger...
