Dans une alternative à notre monde, un mystérieux évènement emmènera un large groupe d'humains à expérimenter l'enfer elle-même. Ces derniers une fois renvoyés sur terre ne pourront plus jamais avoir une vie normale. Entre l'apocalypse à leurs portes qu'ils sont chargés d'affronter, et ceux parmi leurs rangs qui ne sauront attendre ce moment pour agir, le monde commence à se mettre sans dessus dessous par les mains d'une poignée de ces humains, et créatures étranges... Comment ce monde se portera-t-il ? L'humanité subsistera-t-elle même seulement d'ici l'arrivée de l'apocalypse ?

Infection
It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep? It gets worse, much worse. The itching turns to scratching, clawing at you skin until it bleeds... and bleeds and bleeds. Trigger warning - Severely sensitive topics. Around 25 years ago, an unknown virus plagued the Earth- targeting none other than the cells responsible for constructing one's genetic code. Humans, animals, plants- any living matter that comes in contact with it quickly faces its immense mutational power, sparking nothing but unruly destruction. This living nightmare demanded more than a simple adaptation, it forced a complete overhaul on daily life. Yet, despite humanity's best efforts to adapt to this new system- cities plummeted to the ground, nations were obliterated in chaotic arrays of fire, countries infected by the scourge of madness brought about by meaningless war. A radius considered a "Safe Zone", as it incapacitates any infected attempting to breach its perimeter. Its the perfect environment to rebuild what's left of society. These are called "Contamination Zones", and their increased numbers have caused dozens of Colonies, and outposts alike, to suffer breaches and irreversible changes all over the continent. The infected are ruthlessly growing stronger. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Terminé
