Polly is a pentagon living in Flatland.
She read a memoir written by her father's friend, A Square.

She read about Flatland.
She read about Lineland.
She read about Pointland.
.
.
.
She read about Spaceland.
But she denies all of it.

"How can a different world exist?"
"How can something go 'Up, not Northwards'?"

But then. . . A new adventure lies beyond.
With her new friend, A Point.
