A hundred years ago, the majority of the American population probably wouldn't say that they lived under a giant metal dome. That was before the Crash.

Now, they all lived normal lives under the Shields. They went to school, they worked, they played video games and binge watched Netflix. Dante was on the baseball team. Mia gave her photographs to the school newspaper and Peter danced. Arlise was a writer and Digg was a reader, her perfect counterpart. They lived the same way she would imagine American teenagers used to live, and sometimes she could even forget that she was living under a giant metal dome. It even had retina display and replicated whatever kind of sky was on the schedule. On nights like that Saturday, the Sky Show was of the constellations over the Equator during the winter, according to Dante.

But they weren't real stars, a fact Arlise could never forget.

The Virus Within: The Unranked (Book 4)

50 parts Complete

Season 4 of The Virus Within Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again. When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
