Sophie became a lone wolf when her pack was destroyed by another pack called the Vampires. No one knows why the Vampires attacked but she is the only survivor that she knows of.   Four years after that awful day, Sophie finds herself living in one of the many trade cities working for an old man in his candy shop and learning to relax when a strange lone wolf comes along.  A few days after the strange wolf comes along,  some vampire wolves come looking for her, for their alpha.  Sophie is haunted by her past and is afraid of what the future will bring her when she is thrown into a fight for her life, and the  poor girl has only a few people to trust.
