Olivia Walsh finds herself in the discovery of a lifetime in the land of pharaohs. A new tomb has been found and Olivia is part of the team to cross-reference the hidden secrets inside. Like many, she has been fascinated by the ancient civilisation since she was a child but she would do more than just contribute to the history of the golden ancient world; she would be swallowed up by it. Surrounded by schemes, war and conspiracies, she must rely on her wits and knowledge of the ancient world or be lost to it. Just as she might, if she is not careful, to the enthraling of a king. The king is dead and so too is his eldest son. Egypt is on the brink of war and the last free fraction of the nation is facing annihilation. Akil-Heru is at the forefront of the battle, determined to free the country from the yoke of foreign rule. But he cannot do it alone and there are fewer people he can truly trust to aid him than he can count the fingers of his hand. It is victory or damnation facing him and the gods are silent. If that wasn't enough, he must struggle with his own inner demons especially in regards to a woman so pale she seemingly glows like the sun. Spurring a desire that could cost him everything.
