Following the arrest of Delphi Lestrange, the wizarding world began to turn against each other. Rebecca Warren doesn't understand why they have, but her family, as well as other famous families, is targeted by the new Minister of Magic, Mathias Burgess. Rebecca and her sister must flee to the United States and attend Ilvermorny, the American wizarding school. Between dealing with the anxiety of losing family to war, the unwelcome from her new classmates, and aiding her sister, who has a mental condition, Rebecca hopes she can have a normal life in America, but even she knows Matthias will stop at nothing to kill her.
