The area around me darkens as I fight for breath. It feels like my chest is caving in, and gasps escape my mouth as a metallic taste begins to fill it. Is this how I die? How I break the hold, Ted Brooks has on me? 

"Breathe Charlie! Breathe!" Kason's panicked voice fills the area around me as I feel a soothing hand rub circles on my back

"Calm down Charlie; it's going to be okay." Kai's steady's voice follows behind Kason's
